Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using PYQBase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

PYQBase provides a question bank, spaced-repetition study tools, and mock test generation for competitive exam preparation. Features are available under free and premium subscription tiers.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits is prohibited.

4. Free Tier Limits

Free accounts are subject to the following limits, which may change with notice:

  • 30 quiz attempts per IST calendar day.
  • 1 custom mock test per ISO week (Monday 00:00 IST reset).
  • Access to only the last 3 mock tests in history.
  • Weak-area mock test mode is a premium feature.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Premium subscriptions are billed as stated on the pricing page.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are offered within 7 days of initial purchase if the premium features were not substantially used.

6. Intellectual Property

All question content, explanations, and platform code are owned by PYQBase or licensed from their respective owners. You may not scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit the content.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Automated scraping or bulk downloading of questions.
  • Sharing account credentials or circumventing quotas.
  • Uploading malicious code or interfering with the service.
  • Impersonating other users or PYQBase staff.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; data is permanently erased after a 30-day grace period.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that content is error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PYQBase's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.

12. Changes

We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
